The Oatey 31082 heavy duty orange CPVC cement works on all schedules and classes of CPVC pipe and fittings up to 12 inch diameter with interference fit. Above that diameter it is out of its stated range.
2) Will this orange cement work on PVC or ABS pipe too?
No. The 31082 is an orange solvent cement formulated to weld CPVC, and that is the only material it is stated for. For PVC or ABS you need the cement made for that material; using CPVC cement on them is not a substitution the product supports.
