1) Will the Prodatakey RDRPB keypad reader hold up mounted outside on an exterior door?
Yes. The RDRPB is built for outdoor mounting: IP65-rated dust-tight and water-resistant, in a zinc alloy housing, with an operating range of -40F to +140F (-40C to +60C) and 0-95% relative humidity non-condensing. That covers exterior gates, loading docks, and unconditioned garages as well as indoor lobbies.
2) What credentials does the Prodatakey RDRPB read, and can I require a PIN as well as a card?
The RDRPB combines a 125 kHz proximity sensor with a backlit push-button keypad, so you can run it three ways: PIN only, credential only, or two-factor with credential plus PIN. That lets you tighten a single opening (server room, pharmacy, cash office) to two-factor while the rest of the building stays badge-only. Read range on the prox side is 1.1 to 2.3 inches, so it is a present-the-card reader, not a long-range one.

The reader operates at 125 kHz, so it reads proximity credentials on that frequency. If your existing fleet is 13.56 MHz smart cards, this is the wrong reader for them. Check the frequency printed on your credential spec before you standardize, because the card format, not the reader, is what usually forces a re-badge.
6) How far can I run the cable from the reader back to the controller?
