The fixture body measures 7.13 x 7.13 x 1.25 inches, so the housing itself is only about an inch and a quarter deep. That low profile is what makes it work in shallow plenums and joist bays. Plan separately for the remote driver, since this is a remote driver LED downlight and the driver box sits in the ceiling cavity beside the fixture.

The trim is square at 7.13 inches per side, so across the flats it covers a nominal 6 inch round opening, but the corners change the look noticeably. If your building is already fitted with round trims on other ceilings, the square shape will not match. Pick the square only where you want that aesthetic or the ceiling grid is square.

Rated for 50,000 hours average life. The LED is integrated, so there is no lamp to replace, at end of life the fixture itself comes out. The housing is aluminum, which carries heat away from the diodes.
