Schaub 211080 Noho Square Cabinet Pull with 5" Center to Center and Standard Mounting

The Noho 211080 uses 8/32 x 1 inch machine screws. That length suits typical 3/4 inch cabinet fronts with a little thread engagement to spare. If you are mounting through a thicker applied front, a false front with a backer, or adding a leather or metal inlay, order longer 8/32 screws, the thread size stays the same.

The Schaub 211080 Noho pull is a contemporary square-profile brass pull with a 1-1/4 inch projection. The Omnia 1970 modern cabinet pull is a forged solid brass pull that also carries a 1-1/4 inch projection, so it stands off the door face the same distance and clears knuckles and adjacent drawer fronts identically. The Omnia 1969 and Omnia 1971 modern pulls sit slightly closer to the face at a 1-3/16 inch projection if you want a marginally tighter profile. Note that the Noho is specified at 5 inch center to center with a 6-1/2 inch overall length, so confirm the Omnia bore spacing matches your existing drilling before you swap.

The Schaub 211080 Noho is built for 5 inch center to center drilling, so it will not drop onto a 4 inch bore pattern without re-boring. The Omnia 1968/102 modern cabinet pull is forged solid brass with 4 inch center-to-center spacing and is the direct fit for that existing hole pattern. If the openings are drawers rather than doors, the Trimco 562 series drawer pulls are offered in 3-1/2 inch, 4 inch, and 96mm center-to-center options, which also covers the 4 inch pattern.

Two things get confused with it. The Orca Hardware Bachelor and Blackcomb collection items - the CK-15030 and CK-16030 round knobs at 1-1/4 inch diameter and the CK-17025 square knob at 25mm - are single-hole cabinet knobs, not two-hole pulls, so they will not cover the 5 inch center to center bore pattern the Noho uses. And the Orca CK-12001 T-pull bar is a 2 inch bar width steel pull in satin nickel, a different material and profile from the Noho's brass body. If the doors are already drilled for the Noho, stay with a two-hole pull.

Brass is the base material on the Noho 211080, not die cast zinc. That matters for the living finishes in particular, since an unlacquered brass pull only patinas properly over a solid brass body.

Five finishes: Matte Black, Polished Nickel, Unlacquered Brass, Satin Brass and Vintage Brass. Unlacquered Brass is the living finish, it starts bright and darkens with handling, so expect the pulls over a sink or a heavily used drawer bank to patina faster than the rest. If you want the brass look to stay put, spec Satin Brass or Vintage Brass instead.

The Noho 211080 measures 6-1/2 inch overall on 5 inch centers, which needs a reasonably wide front to look right. For narrower fronts, the Deltana SBP35 modern square bar pull is a 3-1/2 inch heavy-duty solid brass pull in the SBP series, keeping the square bar look in a much shorter body. The Trimco 553 series drawer pulls are another short option at 3 inch center to center.

Where you want steel instead, the Orca Hardware CK-12001 T-pull bar is a steel pull with a 2 inch bar width in satin nickel. The Deltana SBP35 modern square bar pull is described as heavy-duty solid brass at 3-1/2 inch if you want to stay in brass but in a more robust bar section. Confirm bore spacing against your casework shop drawings before specifying either, since the Noho is drilled on 5 inch centers.

You can, and the projection is the detail that keeps it looking intentional. The Noho 211080 projects 1-1/4 inch off the face, and the Omnia 1970 modern cabinet pull matches that at 1-1/4 inch, so the two sit at the same depth along a run. The Omnia 1969 and 1971 project 1-3/16 inch, a slightly shallower stand-off that is visible if the two are installed side by side on adjacent doors. Both Omnia and the Noho are brass-bodied, so finish families tend to read consistently, but verify the finish names match across brands since the Noho is offered in matte black, polished nickel, unlacquered brass, satin brass, and vintage brass.

The Noho is a contemporary square profile, clean edges and no detailing. On a shaker or flat slab door it sits right at home. For a raised panel or a period cabinet you would usually want something with more shape, an Emtek Art Deco or Alexander pull from the Schaub Collection reads better against traditional millwork.

Mounting is identical across all five finishes, 5 inch centers and 8/32 x 1 inch screws throughout, so your drilling template and screw stock stay the same whether the unit gets Matte Black or Polished Nickel. Only the finish changes on the order. That makes it straightforward to run one hole pattern across a building and vary the finish by unit type or floor.
