1) Will the Schlage L9092EU electrified mortise lock fit a 1-3/8 inch door?
No. The L9092EU is built for 1-3/4 inch doors, and that is the thickness the standard lock case and trim are cut for. The mortise pocket itself has to accept a case measuring 4-7/16 x 6-1/16 x 1 inches. On a thinner door, or anything outside 1-3/4, you are into special door thickness options rather than the standard product, so plan the opening around 1-3/4 inch commercial doors.
2) What happens to the Schlage L9092EU when the power fails or the fire alarm drops power?
It locks. EU is the fail secure setting: kill the power and the outside lever goes locked, so the opening stays secured. Entry from outside is then by key at the outside cylinder. The inside lever is always free to retract the latchbolt, so egress is never affected by power state. If your application needs the opposite behavior (outside lever free on power loss), that is the EL setting, and these electrified L Series locks are customer-selectable between EL and EU.
3) What voltage and current does the Schlage L9092EU mortise lock draw, and what power supply do I need?
