PM050 - Entrance/Office Lock

1) Will a Schlage PM050 mortise lock fit a door thicker than 1-3/4 inches?
1-3/4 inches (44 mm) is the standard the PM050 is built for, and 1-3/8 inches (35 mm) is the minimum it will work on. It can go up to 2-1/2 inches thick, but you have to specify the door thickness and the lock's position in the door when you order, and that is available in the EE configuration only.
2) Do I need to order the Schlage PM050 handed, left or right?

5) I need a mortise lock on a 2 inch thick door. Is the Schlage PM050 the right pick?
It can go to 2-1/2 inches, but only if you specify the thickness and the lock position in the door at order time, and only in the EE configuration.
