PM440 - Privacy with Deadbolt

Backset is 2-3/4 inches, no other option.
3) What size mortise pocket and hole spacing does the Schlage PM440 need?
The case measures 4-7/16 x 6-1/16 x 1 inches (113 x 154 x 25 mm). Spacing is 3-7/8 inches (98 mm) lever to cylinder and 2-11/16 inches (68 mm) lever to thumbturn hub. One caution for retrofits: PM Series case and cover holes differ from Schlage L Series, so a door prepped for an L Series lock is not a straight swap.
4) What do I have to specify when ordering a Schlage PM440?
Three choices build the part: lever design, rose or escutcheon, and finish. Levers are Athens, Broadway, Latitude, Longitude, Neptune, Playa, Rhodes, Selena, Tubular and Two. Trim is A rose, C rose, D rose, or the N escutcheon. Finishes are 613 oil rubbed bronze, 619 satin nickel, 622 matte black, 625 bright chrome, 626 satin chrome and 643E aged bronze. There is no cylinder or keyway to specify, since this is the non-keyed privacy version.

No. The PM440 is non-keyed privacy only, with no cylinder. For a keyed mortise opening, look at the Corbin Russwin ML2003 Grade 1 classroom mortise or the Cal-Royal NM8080 Grade 1 storeroom mortise, or stay within the PM Series, which offers 26 functions.
