The Trimco 1102 is a 5-1/2 inch center-to-center cast pull for commercial doors with 2-3/16 inch projection. Ordering the PUL-175 in place of an 1102 puts a cylinder pull on an opening that has no cylinder to receive it.
11) Does the Trimco 1102 pull have a handing, or is it the same part for a left and right hand door?
No handing on the 1102. It's a symmetrical straight grip on two posts at equal centers, so the same part goes on a left hand or right hand door and on either face. What you do have to specify when ordering is the center-to-center (5-1/2 or 5-1/4 inch), the mounting (S surface or T thru-bolt), and the finish.
