Trimco UHF210 Series Overview
Trimco’s new, innovative UHF210 Series Ultimate Hands-Free Slide Lock is ideal for many applications and environments, and is an ideal solution for single occupancy restrooms where security, privacy, and sanitization are critical. The Patent Pending design is ADA compliant with internal and external indicators to display if door is locked or unlocked. The Slide Lock retrofits to a standard lever door prep and features field reversible handing.
The hands-free design incorporates large pull hooks that enable the user to open the door from the inside with a forearm, clothing, or accessories to reduce the likelihood of skin contact with the surface of the product – ideal for envionrments where cleanliness and sanitisation are of the utmost importance and priority.
The locking knob is also easy to engage to lock or unlock the door in a similar manner as opening the door. The knob itself is large, rounded, and designed to not catch on items such as loose clothing or accessories.
The large lock indicator window appears on both the inside and outside of the door to provide a clear indication if the door is locked (red indicator with symbol of a locked lock), or unlocked (green indicator with a symbol of an unlocked lock symbol).

1) Will the Trimco UHF210 slide lock fit a 1-3/8 inch door?
No. The UHF210 Series Ultimate Hands-Free Slide Lock is only compatible with 1-3/4 inch thick doors, which is the standard commercial door thickness. On a 1-3/8 inch door, common on older interior openings, you need a different privacy solution. It's also specified for wood doors.
2) Do I order a different model for an outswing restroom door?
Yes, the swing decides the model. UHF211 is the inswing version and UHF212 is the outswing version, and you pick one at order time. Handing itself is field reversible, so you don't specify left or right hand, but you do have to get the swing right.
3) Can I retrofit the Trimco hands-free slide lock onto an existing lever prep?

The Deltana OHP620 off-set handle pull is a back-to-back set with a door thickness range of 1-1/8 inch to 1-3/8 inch, so it suits the thinner doors that the Trimco UHF210 series does not cover - the UHF210 is built for 1-3/4 inch thick doors. The OHP620 is a pull set only, so any locking or privacy indication on that opening has to come from separate hardware.
