Trine 258RD 3000 Series 2-5/8" Radiused

Yes. The 258RD is built to be used with Adams Rite 4510, 4710 and 4750 deadlatches, and its stated lock compatibility is deadlatch hardware. That is the standard aluminum storefront latch, so if your door has an Adams Rite deadlatch in the stile, this is the strike face that pairs with it. It is not intended for cylindrical locksets or mortise locks with an auxiliary deadlocking latch of a different profile.

The 258RD is the faceplate only, not a complete strike. Trine's 3000 Series is modular: any of the nine 3000 Series faceplates mates with any 3012, 3024, 30LC or 30RS mechanism. So a working opening needs two line items, the 258RD radiused face and the mechanism that gives you the voltage and function you want. The faceplate carries a Grade 1 rating and the product is specified for commercial installation, standard duty use. Grade 1 is the top of the three ANSI/BHMA performance tiers and is what most commercial and institutional specs call for on entry hardware. For an office, retail storefront, school or medical building entrance, the face itself is at commercial spec.

No handing to specify. The 258RD is a centered configuration, so the keeper cutout sits on the centerline of the plate and the same part serves either leaf. That matters on a pair of aluminum doors where you may not know until you are on site which leaf is getting the strike, and it means a property manager stocking spares only needs one part number per finish.

Substantially less than a conventional strike. Trine puts it at 80 percent less cutting of the frame compared with a typical 4-7/8 inch electric strike installation, because the 258RD face is only 2-5/8 inches and follows the existing rounded profile instead of needing it squared off. On an occupied building that is the difference between a short door-open window and a full jamb rework, and it is why this face gets specified for retrofits on storefronts already in service.

Yes, and that is the point of the 3000 Series. All nine faceplates in the series interchange across the 3012, 3024, 30LC and 30RS mechanisms, so a facility standardized on a 3000 Series mechanism can add a rounded aluminum opening by ordering just the 258RD face, keeping the same wiring, voltage and function already used elsewhere. For an MRO or facilities buyer, that keeps one mechanism on the shelf covering flat jambs, radiused jambs and everything between.

Two: satin chrome (626) and a dark bronze powder coat. Those are the finishes that match typical aluminum storefront hardware, clear or anodized frames take the satin chrome and dark bronze anodized frames take the bronze. If you are electrifying several openings in a building, order all of them in the same finish since the strike face sits visible in the jamb next to the latch.
