1) What does the RS suffix mean on the Trine 2678, and does it work on AC power?
RS is the fail-safe option, meaning the strike unlocks when power is removed. Trine offers RS on DC only. 7) My aluminum jamb is prepped for a 4-7/8 inch faceplate, not the Trine 2678RS 6-7/8 inch - what fits?

8) I need a fail-safe strike but also want the option to switch it to fail-secure in the field - what else should I look at besides the Trine 2678RS?
