1) What dimmer works with the WAC Geos LED flush mount, and will my standard wall dimmer work?
It dims on an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer only. A standard incandescent/TRIAC forward-phase dimmer or a MLV dimmer is the wrong control and will give you flicker, buzz, or a fixture that will not dim through its range. If you are replacing an old flush mount on an existing dimmer circuit, budget for swapping the dimmer to an ELV type as part of the job.
2) How much light does a 10 inch Geos LED flush mount put out, and how big a room will it cover?
964 lumens at 12.5W, in a flood distribution through a frosted acrylic diffuser. That is a general-purpose ceiling light for a small room, a hall, an entry, a closet, or a bathroom, roughly the output people expect from a single 60 to 75 watt incandescent. For a bedroom or living area you would either step up to a larger diameter in the Geos family or run more than one.
3) Will the Geos 10 inch flush mount cover my existing ceiling junction box opening?
The fixture measures 10.25 inches across and the backplate is 10 inches, so it covers a standard 4 inch octagon or round ceiling box and typical patch ring with plenty of margin. Overall height is 0.88 inches, under an inch off the ceiling. The driver is a 2 in x 1.4 in x 1 in transformer that installs inside the junction box, so you need box volume free for it, not a separate remote driver location.
4) Does the WAC Geos flush mount meet California Title 24 and ADA requirements for a multifamily or commercial project?
It is listed as Title 24 compliant and Title 20 compliant, which is what a California job needs for the residential and appliance-efficiency sides. 6) What color temperature and finish combinations does the WAC Geos FM-4610 come in?
Six orderable combinations: 2700K or 3000K, each in brushed brass, titanium, or white. The part number carries both, so FM-4610-27-BR is 2700K brass and FM-4610-30-WT is 3000K white. Pick 2700K for warm residential spaces matching incandescent, 3000K where you want a slightly crisper white in kitchens, baths, and back-of-house. Mixing the two on the same floor is visible, so standardize per area.
7) Can I replace the bulb in the WAC Geos LED flush mount when it burns out?
No. It is an integrated LED, there is no socket and no lamp to change. Rated life is 70,000 hours, so at roughly 4 hours a day that is decades of service before output degrades.
