1) Will the WAC Dice 14 inch rectangular flush mount fit on a pancake junction box?
Yes. The Dice FM-4014 is hardwired 120V AC LED with no separate driver or transformer, so the canopy mounts directly to a pancake junction box. The backplate runs 14 inches long, and the fixture measures 2.63 inches high with a 5.38 inch dimension on the other axis, so plan for a shallow projection off the surface.
2) Can the Dice FM-4014 be used as a wall sconce, and is it ADA compliant?
It mounts either way. On the ceiling it is a flush mount; turned onto the wall it works as a sconce, and WAC rates it ADA compliant in that wall application. Projection off the wall is 2.63 inches, which is what keeps it inside ADA protrusion limits.
3) Will the Dice FM-4014 work in a bathroom or a covered porch?
Damp location rated and IP44, so a bathroom ceiling, a covered porch, or a covered breezeway are all fine. It is not rated for wet locations, so keep it out of direct rain or a shower spray zone.
4) What dimmer do I need for the WAC Dice LED flush mount?
An electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The 120V integrated LED driver circuit will not dim smoothly on a standard incandescent/TRIAC dimmer, so spec ELV to get the continuous dimming WAC rates it for. There is no separate remote driver to locate.
5) Which color temperature should I order for the 14 inch Dice flush mount, 2700K or 3000K?
Both are stocked in brushed nickel: FM-4014-27-BN at 2700K and FM-4014-30-BN at 3000K. 2700K reads warm and matches incandescent-era fixtures in residential corridors and units; 3000K is slightly cleaner and is the more common pick for baths, kitchens, and hospitality. For a building standardizing across many openings, pick one and stay with it. 277V, 240V, and custom CCT are special order.
6) Does the WAC Dice FM-4014 meet California Title 24 for a multifamily project?
