1) Does the WAC Nightvision WS-W42016 wall light need a separate LED driver or transformer?
No. The WS-W42016 uses WAC's ACLED driverless technology, so it wires straight to 120V line voltage with no driver or transformer in the box. It mounts over a standard or pancake junction box, which is what makes it a straightforward swap for an existing hardwired sconce.
2) What dimmer works with the WAC WS-W42016 Nightvision wall light?
An electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The fixture dims smoothly and continuously on ELV control; a standard incandescent/TRIAC forward-phase dimmer is not the specified control for it. If your building standard is a forward-phase wallbox dimmer, plan on swapping that device to an ELV type when you spec this sconce.
3) How far does the Nightvision WS-W42016 stick out from the wall, and is it ADA compliant?
The fixture is listed ADA compliant, so it is acceptable along corridors and egress paths where projection limits apply. Stated dimensions are 16 inches in height and 4.63 inches in width.

Yes. It is designed to mount on a wall vertically or inverted, which lets you bias the light up or down depending on whether you are grazing a facade, a tree, or a sculptural element. Either orientation keeps both the up and down apertures working.
