1) Will the WAC Strip WS-63724 vanity light work on a standard bathroom junction box, or do I need a different box?
It hardwires to a standard wall box, and a 4 inch conversion plate ships in the box for larger junction boxes. The backplate is 24 inches long by 3 inches wide, so it covers the box and spans the width of a typical vanity mirror.
2) Can the WAC Strip LED bath light be mounted vertically alongside a mirror instead of above it?
Yes. The Strip LED can be mounted vertically or horizontally, so a pair flanking a mirror works the same as one bar over the top. Mounting is wall-mount with up/down orientation.
3) What dimmer do I need for the WAC WS-63724 LED vanity light?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. It is the only dimming type this fixture is rated for, and it gives smooth continuous dimming. A standard incandescent/forward-phase dimmer will not control it properly, so budget for an ELV device on the wall.
4) Is the WAC Strip vanity light OK in a shower area or over a tub?
