1) Can the WAC Rockabilly PD-75126 pendant be installed on a sloped ceiling?
Yes. A hang straight swivel ships with the Rockabilly pendant specifically for sloped ceiling installs, so the stem hangs plumb off a pitched surface. It is a rod-hung, ceiling-mounted fixture with a 9 inch round backplate, so plan for a canopy that covers a 9 inch footprint on the ceiling.
2) How high a ceiling will the 26 inch Rockabilly LED pendant hang from, and what down rods come with it?
Out of the box you get three 12 inch down rods and one 6 inch rod, plus 10 feet of wire, which lets the pendant hang anywhere from 22 inches to 120 inches overall from the ceiling. That 120 inch maximum covers most two-story foyers and double-height great rooms. If you need it lower than the rods included allow, additional down rods are sold separately.
3) Will the Rockabilly pendant work on 277V commercial power?
It will. The driver is universal input, 120V through 277V, so the same part number works on residential 120V and on 277V commercial lighting circuits without ordering a different version. That makes it usable in hospitality and office jobs where the lighting branch is 277V.
4) What dimmer do I need for the WAC PD-75126 LED pendant?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV), TRIAC, or 0-10V dimmer. The integrated LED dims smoothly and continuously on any of those three. Do not spec a magnetic low voltage or standard incandescent-only control and expect clean performance. On a 0-10V job the fixture needs the control wiring run to it, so account for that at rough-in.
5) Can this WAC pendant be hung over a covered porch or in a bathroom?
It carries a damp location rating and an IP44 rating, so it is fine over a covered porch, a breezeway, or a bathroom away from direct spray. It is not rated for wet locations, meaning open exposure to rain or direct water contact is out. It is also ETL and cETL listed for US and Canadian jobs.
6) Can the LED be replaced in the WAC Rockabilly pendant, or is the whole fixture disposable when it fails?
The LED is integrated, not a socketed lamp, so there is no bulb to change. Rated life is 54,000 hours, which at roughly 8 hours a day is well over a decade of service. For an MRO or property maintenance program that means no relamping cycle on this fixture, but it also means the light source and fixture are one unit.
