Canopy LED 12V Path and Area Light with 8.5in Round Cap 2700K

Simple, clean and efficient. The Tiki Path Light provides a wide sweep of light in a minimalist design that will blend into any landscape. Both the dome-shaped shade and stem are made out of a durable die-cast aluminum. This path light is powered by bright long lasting integrated LED's and can conveniently tap into any existing 12V landscape lighting system. Factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating for protection against high-pressure water jets and outdoor elements. Casted using a special k-alloy aluminum that is engineered to withstand the most challenging environments over time. Solid brass coated in bronze (-BBR finish) may be available for enhanced protection against corrosive elements and is recommended for use in coastal or marine environments. Includes a 9in mounting spike (Guardian Spike sku # 9000-SP9-BZ sold separately for more durable mounting) and a 3ft lead wire with two gel filled direct burial wire nuts. A magnetic or electronic power supply is required (sold separately) for 12V fixtures. A variety of accessories are sold separately for additional mounting options.

1) Can the WAC Lighting 6051-27 Canopy path light run off my existing 12V landscape lighting system?
Yes. The 6051-27 Canopy path light taps into an existing 12V landscape run. It accepts 9-15 VAC, 50/60Hz input, so it holds constant lumen output even where voltage drops out at the end of a long run. A magnetic or electronic power supply (transformer) is required and is not included with the fixture. It ships with a 3ft lead wire and two gel filled direct burial wire nuts for the splice.
2) What mounting hardware comes with the WAC Canopy 12V path light, and do I need anything else?
A 9in mounting spike is included, which is enough for typical soft-soil bed installation. For a more durable mount WAC offers the Guardian Spike, sku 9000-SP9-BZ, sold separately. Other mounting and glare control accessories are also separate. The one thing you must buy no matter what is the 12V power supply.
3) Will the WAC Canopy path light survive irrigation spray and pressure washing?
It is factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating, which covers high-pressure water jets as well as rain and sprinkler spray. It is listed to UL and cUL 1838 and rated for wet locations. Housing is die-cast k-alloy aluminum on the standard finishes.
4) Is the WAC 6051 Canopy path light dimmable?
Yes, but only on a magnetic low voltage (MLV) dimmer, which gives smooth continuous dimming through the transformer. The LED module is integrated, so there is no lamp to swap and no TRIAC-on-the-fixture option.
5) How much light does the WAC 6051 Canopy path light actually put out, and how far apart should they go?
Delivered output is 225 lumens at 6.5W, with a CRI of 90 for good color rendering on planting and stonework. The 8.5in round cap and translucent lens spread a wide, even wash at ground level rather than a tight pool, so it covers more walkway per fixture than a narrow-hat path light. Rated life is 60,000 hours.
6) What color temperature options does the WAC 6051 Canopy path light come in?
The 6051-27 is the 2700K warm white version, available in bronze on brass, black on aluminum, and bronze on aluminum. WAC also builds the 6051 in 3000K if you are matching a cooler existing run. Pick one temperature across a property; mixing 2700K and 3000K on the same walkway is visible at night.
