It is supplied as a plug-in kit running on 120V, 60Hz single-phase power. That makes it workable for a retail display or office wall where you have a receptacle nearby and do not want to open up a junction box. If your drawing calls for a hardwired feed, you need a different kit or a hardwire feed connector.

Use an ELV (electronic low voltage) or TRIAC forward-phase dimmer. Both dim the heads from 100 percent down to 5 percent. A 0-10V or DALI control will not work here, and pairing it with a plain incandescent dimmer that is not TRIAC-rated for LED loads is where you get flicker and drop-out at the low end.

It is Energy Star qualified, CEC listed, and Title 24 compliant, and it is also ADA compliant. Safety listing is ETL and cETL, which covers both US and Canadian installations. Those are the three boxes a California or institutional spec usually wants checked on a track kit.

No. The Charge 8010 kit is rated for indoor, dry locations only. A covered porch, a soffit, or a shower area needs a damp or wet rated fixture instead. Dry-rated interior retail, office, gallery, and residential spaces are the right application.

Each head swings 350 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically, so you can go from straight down to a full horizontal wall wash on the same head. That range is why it works for a gallery or display where the merchandise moves and the aim has to be re-set without moving the track.

Delivered output is 2550 lumens across the three heads, with center beam candlepower of 1196, at 3000K and 90 CRI. The narrow-ish CBCP figure plus 90 CRI is what makes it usable for accenting merchandise, artwork, or a feature wall rather than general ambient lighting. For an even wash across a whole sales floor you would run multiple kits or go to a wider-distribution head.

Each head draws 11W, so the kit runs 33W total on a 120V circuit. That is the figure to use when you are tallying a branch circuit or a Title 24 lighting power budget for the space.

Nothing extra. The LED module is integral and included, and the driver is concealed inside each fixture, so there is no remote transformer to find room for above the ceiling and no lamp to stock. When the array reaches end of life at 50,000 rated hours the head is replaced rather than relamped.

Die-cast aluminum body with a frosted TIR lens over the LED. The cast aluminum is the heat sink for the integral driver, which is why the fixture sheds heat without a separate remote transformer. Physical size is 6.5 inches high by 2.38 inches wide, so it stays fairly tight to the track on a lower ceiling.
