1) Will the WAC Charge 8010 track head fit my existing H or J track?
No. The L-8010-30 is built with an L-track adapter and only mounts on L track. WAC makes the Charge 8010 head in H, J/J2 and L track versions, so if your runs are Halo-style H track or Juno-style J/J2 track you need the matching version instead of this one. Check the adapter on a head you already have before ordering.
2) Can I use this WAC track head in a bathroom, covered patio or parking garage?
The L-8010-30 is rated for dry, indoor locations only. Keep it out of covered exterior soffits, garages open to weather, and shower or tub zones. For damp or wet areas you need a fixture carrying that rating.
3) Does the Charge 8010 track head meet California Title 24 and Energy Star for a commercial tenant fit-out?
Yes on both. The head is CEC listed and Title 24 compliant, Energy Star rated, and ETL and cETL listed for the US and Canada. It is also listed as ADA compliant. That covers the usual submittal boxes on a California job or an energy-code-driven spec.
4) How much light does one Charge 8010 track head put out, and how many do I need for a retail display?
Each head draws 11W at 120V and is rated 1050 lumens with a CBCP of 1196, at 3000K. That is accent-level output, so retail and gallery layouts typically space heads on the track and aim each one at the merchandise rather than trying to light the whole room from a few fixtures. The head aims 350 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically, so you can re-aim as displays move without relocating the head.
5) Will the light color match the 3000K heads already on my track?
This is the 3000K version of the Charge 8010, a warm white that reads consistent with other 3000K heads. CRI is 90, so if your existing heads are a lower CRI the rendering on skin tones and merchandise will look slightly richer from these. Color temperature is fixed, not tunable.
6) Do I have to buy a lamp for the Charge 8010, and can the LED be replaced later?
No lamp to buy. The head ships with a high powered replaceable LED module built in, driver concealed inside the cylinder, rated 50,000 hours. Because the module is replaceable rather than sealed, a failed LED does not automatically mean scrapping the head.
7) What finishes does the WAC L-8010-30 come in?
Two: black (L-8010-30-BK) and white (L-8010-30-WT). Pick the one that disappears against your ceiling, or black if you want the head to read as a deliberate element on an exposed-structure ceiling.
