1) Will the WAC Endurance MS-120 motion sensor work with any WAC wall pack, or only certain Endurance fixtures?
The MS-120 is an add-on sensor for the Endurance collection, and it mounts to any Endurance Fin, Hawk, or Flood/Security Light. It is not a universal sensor for other lines. If the fixture on the wall is not an Endurance model, this is the wrong accessory.
2) Can the MS-120 sensor be mounted outdoors in the rain?
Wet location rated, indoor or outdoor. The sensor is ETL and cETL Listed with an IP66 rating, so driving rain and washdown on an exterior wall are within what it is built for. Housing is die cast aluminum.
3) What voltage does the WAC MS-120 motion sensor run on, and does it need to be hardwired?
120V, hardwired. There is no plug and no battery option, so an electrician ties it into the fixture's line voltage feed at the wall box. On a multi-family or campus retrofit where the existing wall packs are fed at 277V, this sensor is not the right part.
4) Does the WAC Endurance MS-120 sensor meet Title 24 and Dark Sky requirements for a California job?
Title 24 compliant, CEC listed, Energy Star, and Dark Sky, and it carries an ADA compliant designation. On a California exterior lighting spec where occupancy-based shutoff is required, adding this sensor to an Endurance fixture is how that control requirement gets met.
5) How much wall space do I need to allow for the Endurance MS-120 sensor next to the fixture?
Allow for a part measuring 11.75 x 11.75 x 3.5 inches. That is the footprint to check against any conduit, downspout, or trim that sits beside the wall pack before you set the mounting point.
6) Do I need to buy a mounting arm or bracket separately for the WAC Endurance motion sensor?
No extra hardware to source. An extension rod and an L connector ship in the box along with the installation instructions, which is what lets you offset the sensor from the fixture and aim it at the approach path.
7) Can I adjust how long the light stays on after the WAC MS-120 sensor is triggered?
Two adjustable controls on the sensor: one sets sensitivity to time of day, the other sets how long the light runs after motion trips it. 9) Is the MS-120 a dimmer or just an on/off occupancy sensor?
It switches the fixture on and off on motion, it is not a dimming control. Endurance fixtures themselves are dimmable on ELV and TRIAC controls, so if you want level control as well as occupancy switching, the dimmer is a separate device in the circuit.
