1) Can the WAC FM-07SQ flush mount be installed on a wall, or is it ceiling only?
Both. The FM-07SQ mounts on a ceiling or a wall in any orientation, so you can use the same fixture for a stairwell soffit, a corridor ceiling and a wall sconce position without changing part numbers. It is a hardwired fixture, not plug-in, so each location needs a junction box.
2) Will the WAC FM-07SQ LED flush mount work in a covered exterior entry or a bathroom?
It carries a damp location rating, so it is good for a bathroom, a covered porch, a breezeway or a covered walkway where it won't take direct rain. Do not use it in an open, wet location.
3) Does the driver fit inside a standard junction box on this 7 inch WAC square flush mount?
Yes. The driver on the FM-07SQ installs inside the junction box and measures 2.25 inches diameter by 1 inch deep, so nothing sits in the canopy. Only a half inch of fixture projects below the surface, and the leads run 6 inches.
4) What dimmer works with the WAC FM-07SQ, and how low will it dim?
Use an ELV or TRIAC (forward phase) dimmer. Either one takes the light from 100 percent down to 5 percent. Input is 120 VAC, 50/60Hz, so a standard line voltage residential or commercial dimmer applies. It is not a 0-10V fixture, so don't spec it on a 0-10V control circuit.
5) Does the WAC FM-07SQ meet Title 24 and ADA requirements for a California multifamily project?
It is Title 24 compliant, CEC listed, Energy Star, and ADA compliant. Half an inch of projection keeps it inside ADA protrusion limits on a wall. ETL and cETL listed for US and Canadian jobs.

The fixture is 7 inches square with a 7 inch backplate and projects 0.5 inches from the surface. It covers a standard round or octagon junction box within that 7 inch footprint. Leads are 6 inches, so make up your connections close to the box.
9) What is the WAC FM-07SQ made of, and will it hold up in a commercial corridor?
Aluminum housing with a translucent acrylic diffuser. Aluminum sheds driver heat, which is what keeps an LED fixture at its rated life, and the acrylic lens won't shatter the way glass does if it takes a hit from a cart or a ladder in a hallway or a stairwell.
