Both. The FM-07RN is a 7 inch round LED flush mount rated for ceiling or wall mounting in any orientation, so the same fixture can go over a corridor ceiling and beside a doorway without ordering a different part. It hardwires to a junction box, with a 6 inch wire lead to make up to the supply.

Damp location rated, so it is cleared for bathrooms, covered porches, breezeways, and covered exterior walkways. It is not a wet location fixture, so keep it out of direct rain and out of the shower spray zone. The housing is aluminum with a translucent acrylic diffuser, which holds up better than steel in humid areas.

Just 0.6 inches of projection on a 7 inch diameter body, which is why it works in low-clearance spots: stair landings, closets, garage ceilings, tight corridors, and anywhere a dome fixture would get hit. The backplate is 7 inches across, same as the fixture body, so it covers a standard 4 inch octagon or round junction box and the ring of paint shadow around it. What it will not cover is a larger cut-out left by a recessed can or an oversized canopy; if you are going from a 5 or 6 inch can to this, plan on a patch or a goof ring. The fixture mounts to the box itself, and the 6 inch leads give you enough slack to make up connections in the box before setting it up.

At 90 CRI the color rendering is high enough for bathrooms and dressing areas where skin tones and finishes matter, which is above what a typical builder-grade LED disc delivers. For a hall or a small bath a 7 inch unit is a spot solution: one over a vanity, or spaced down a corridor. For a bedroom or a larger room, step up to a bigger diameter in the same round family rather than trying to cover the space with one 7 inch fixture.
