1) Can the WAC FM-11SQ flush mount be installed on a wall, or is it ceiling only?
Both. The FM-11SQ is rated for ceiling or wall mounting in any orientation, so you can run it down a hallway ceiling and up a stairwell wall with the same fixture. It is a hardwired fixture, not plug-in, so each location needs a junction box.
2) Will the WAC FM-11SQ work in a covered porch or a bathroom over a shower?
It carries a damp location rating, so a covered exterior porch, a bathroom, or a laundry room is fine. Damp does not cover direct exposure to rain or spray, so an uncovered soffit or an open deck needs a wet-rated fixture instead.
3) Does the FM-11SQ square flush mount need a separate remote driver, or does everything fit in the box?
No remote driver. The LED driver mounts inside the junction box and measures 2.25 inches in diameter by 1 inch deep, with a 6 inch wire lead to the fixture. Nothing hangs above the ceiling plane beyond what fits in a standard box, and the fixture body itself sits only 1/2 inch off the surface.
4) Will the WAC FM-11SQ dim on the wall dimmers already in my building?
It dims on ELV and TRIAC controls, down to 5 percent from full on either. TRIAC is the standard forward-phase dimmer found on most existing residential and light commercial circuits, so an existing wall box dimmer will usually drive it. It will not work on 0-10V controls. Line voltage is 120V, 50/60Hz.
5) Is the FM-11SQ ADA compliant for a corridor wall sconce application?
