WAC Lighting Hornet Accent 12V Landscape Accent Luminaire

Two: 2700K and 3000K. Order 5611-27BBR for 2700K and 5611-30BBR for 3000K. 2700K reads warmer and is the usual choice for blending with existing warm-white path and uplighting runs; 3000K is slightly cooler and tends to render foliage and stonework a little crisper. If you are adding fixtures to an installed system, match the temperature already in the ground so the beams don't read mismatched at night.

It is a 12V fixture, so it needs to be fed from a low voltage landscape transformer rather than wired to 120V. Budget the fixture's load into your transformer's total wattage and watch voltage drop on long runs. It will not work connected directly to line voltage.

Bronze on Brass is the finish offered, on both the 2700K and 3000K versions. That is a bronze finish over a brass body, which is what most specifiers want for in-ground and planting bed accent work where the fixture sits in wet soil and mulch year round.

Yes. The 5611 Hornet accent is offered in a single finish, Bronze on Brass, so every fixture you order will match without a finish code to track. The only choice you make per fixture is color temperature, 2700K or 3000K, so pick one and carry it across the whole property for a consistent look.

The base model is WAC Lighting 5611. The orderable numbers are 5611-27BBR (2700K, Bronze on Brass) and 5611-30BBR (3000K, Bronze on Brass). Quote the full suffix, not just 5611, or you will get the wrong color temperature.

An accent luminaire is the one you want for aiming light at something: tree canopies, trunks, columns, wall washing, or a specimen planting. It throws a directed beam at a target. A path light does the opposite job, spreading light down onto walkway surface, and will not uplight a tree. On most residential and commercial landscape jobs you run both off the same 12V transformer, accents on the features and path lights on the circulation.
