The JI-PWR is a straight (I) connector for WAC J Track that joins two track sections end to end in line, and it is power feedable, so the electrical feed can be brought in at that joint instead of only at the end of the run. It is a hardwired 120 volt component, so it lands on a branch circuit rather than plugging in.
2) Can I use this J track power connector in a covered outdoor breezeway or a bathroom over a shower?
No. The JI-PWR is rated for interior, dry locations only. Damp or wet areas such as covered exterior walkways, shower zones or unconditioned canopies need a component rated for those locations.
3) How much space does the JI-PWR I connector take up on a ceiling?
Plan on 7.13 inches of length along the run, 1.39 inches across, and 0.75 inch of drop below the mounting surface. That 0.75 inch height is worth checking against a cover plate or a tight soffit detail before you commit the layout.
4) Is the WAC J Track power feedable I connector UL listed?
It carries UL and cUL listings, which covers both US and Canadian installations. It is not Energy Star qualified and is not Title 24 compliant, so it will not help you on a California Title 24 lighting submittal.

Three finishes: black (JI-PWR-BK), brushed nickel (JI-PWR-BN) and white (JI-PWR-WT). 6) Does ordering the JI-PWR give me everything I need for a track run?
No. It is a single connector, not a kit. Track sections, end caps, mounting hardware and the heads themselves are separate line items, and you still need a 120 volt supply landed at the connector by an electrician.
