1) What does the WAC Lighting LI-PWR I connector actually do in an L Track run?
The LI-PWR is a straight (I) connector for WAC's L Track system that joins two track sections end to end in a straight line, and it is power feedable, meaning the 120V supply can be brought in at that joint rather than only at the end of a run. That matters when the branch circuit lands mid-run instead of at a dead end. It is a component, not a complete system, so track sections, mounting hardware and heads are ordered separately.
2) Will the LI-PWR connector work on 277V track?
No. The L Track power feedable I connector is a 120V device only. On a 277V circuit you need a 277V-rated track system and feed; do not put this connector on one.
3) Can I use this WAC L Track power feed connector outdoors or in a covered garage?
No. It is rated Dry location and interior use only. Damp or wet spots (exterior soffits, unconditioned parking structures, bathrooms with direct exposure) need a location-rated product instead.
4) How much space does the LI-PWR connector take up on the ceiling?
The connector body measures 7 inches long, 1.39 inches wide, and 0.75 inches high, with a backplate of the same 7 x 1.39 x 0.75 inch footprint. Plan that 7 inches of straight run between the two track sections it joins, and allow the 0.75 inch drop below the ceiling plane when you are coordinating with a soffit edge or a ceiling grid.
5) Is this WAC track connector hardwired or does it plug in?
Hardwired. The power feedable I connector is wired to a 120V branch circuit, so an electrician terminates supply conductors at the connector. There is no cord or plug option here.
6) What finishes does the WAC L Track power feed I connector come in, and can I match my existing track?
Three finishes: Black (LI-PWR-BK), Brushed Nickel (LI-PWR-BN), and White (LI-PWR-WT). Order the connector in the same finish as your L Track sections and heads, since the 7 inch body sits exposed in the run.

It carries UL and cUL safety listings, which covers both US and Canadian installations. It is not Energy Star, not ADA compliant, and not Title 24 compliant, so if your spec calls for Title 24 controls credit or an ADA-compliant projection, that has to come from elsewhere in the assembly.
8) Can I flip this WAC track connector to feed from the other direction?
No, it is not a reversible mounting component. The connector installs one way up, so determine which side the supply enters and which face goes to the ceiling before you set the track.
