1) Can the WAC 2511 indicator light run off my existing 12V landscape transformer?
Yes. The 2511 surface mounted indicator light is a 12V fixture that hardwires into a low voltage landscape run, and it draws only 2.8W, so it adds very little load to an existing transformer. It comes with 36 inches of lead wire for the splice to your main run.
2) How bright is a 2-inch louvered indicator light, and what is it actually meant to light?
At 60 lumens it is a marker, not a path floodlight. The louvered top throws a small downward pool to show where a step, deck edge or walkway turns, without glare in the eye. If you need to actually illuminate the walking surface, pair these with larger path or step fixtures and use the 2511 for the edge markers.
3) Will this WAC indicator light hold up in sprinkler spray and rain?
It is rated for wet locations and carries UL, cUL and an IP66 rating, which covers rain, irrigation spray and hose-down. The housing is stainless steel with a clear glass lens, so it is built for direct outdoor exposure rather than covered porches only.
4) What size hole or surface do I need for the WAC 2511 round indicator light?

5) Can I dim these WAC landscape indicator lights?
Dimming is magnetic low voltage (MLV), so the dimmer has to be on the line side of a magnetic 12V transformer and rated MLV. An ELV or standard incandescent dimmer will not control it correctly.
6) Which color temperature and finish should I order for the WAC 2511?
Four combinations are built: 2700K or 3000K, each in natural Stainless Steel or Stainless Steel Coated in Bronze. 2700K reads warm and yellow, closer to older halogen landscape lighting; 3000K is slightly crisper. If you are adding to an existing run, match the Kelvin already installed or the new markers will read off next to the old ones.
7) Is the LED replaceable in the WAC 2511, or is the whole fixture disposable?
The LED is integrated, with no bulb base to relamp, and it ships installed. Rated life is 70,000 hours, so on a dusk-to-dawn landscape schedule it is effectively a long-service fixture rather than a maintenance item. Plan on swapping the fixture, not the lamp.
8) Does the WAC 2511 indicator light meet California Title 24 and ADA requirements?
Both are met: the fixture is listed Title 24 compliant and ADA compliant. The ADA side is helped by the low profile, since the body projects only 0.79 inches from the mounting surface. That matters for stair risers, rails and wall-mounted markers along an accessible route.
