1) Will the WAC Lighting HTK-720 track head fit my existing H-track?
The HTK-720 is an H track fixture, so it mounts to H-system (Halo-type) line voltage track only. It runs on 120V line voltage track. If your ceiling runs J or L system track, this head will not seat in it.
2) What bulb does the HTK-720 track head take, and is one included?
It takes a single PAR20 lamp, rated to 50 watts maximum, and the lamp is not included. Either incandescent or LED PAR20 will work, so you can spec an LED PAR20 to cut the load while staying inside the 50W ceiling.
3) Can the HTK-720 be used in a covered exterior walkway or a bathroom over a shower?
No. It is rated for interior, dry locations only. Covered exteriors, bath wet zones, and damp areas like commercial kitchens or pool rooms need a damp or wet rated fixture instead.
4) Is this WAC track head UL listed and does it meet California Title 24?
It carries UL and cUL listing, and it is CEC listed. It is not Title 24 compliant and not Energy Star rated, so on a California project with Title 24 lighting requirements you will need a different fixture or a compliant control strategy.
5) How much clearance do I need below the ceiling for this WAC track head?
Allow for a fixture 6.75 inches at max height, 4.5 inches long, and 3.25 inches in diameter. That 6.75 inch figure is the tallest it stands off the track, which matters in low-ceiling retail or gallery spaces where heads sit in a sightline.
6) Can this track head be aimed upward for cove or wall washing?
Yes, the HTK-720 has reversible mounting, so it can be oriented for uplight or downlight off the same track run. The aluminum body keeps the weight down on longer runs with multiple heads.
7) What finishes does the HTK-720 come in for matching heads across a building?
Two finishes: black (HTK-720-BK) and white (HTK-720-WT). Both are the same head, so you can standardize one finish across a property and reorder by suffix.
