WAC Lighting LTK-720-BK – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the WAC LTK-720 track head fit my existing track, or do I need WAC L-track?
The LTK-720 is an L track fixture, so it mounts to WAC L-Series (L track) rail only. It will not lock into a J or H track pattern. It runs on 120V line voltage track, so no transformer is needed in the run.
2) What bulb does the WAC LTK-720 track head take, and is one included?
It takes a single PAR20 lamp, either incandescent or LED, rated to a 50W maximum. No lamp ships with the head, so add lamps to the order. If you are relamping a whole run for energy, a PAR20 LED at well under 50W drops straight in.
3) Can I use the WAC LTK-720 track head in a covered outdoor breezeway or a bathroom?
No. It is a dry location, interior rated head only. Keep it out of damp or wet spots, covered exteriors, over showers, and out of unconditioned spaces where condensation forms. Those locations need a damp or wet listed fixture.
4) How much clearance do I need below the ceiling for an LTK-720 head?
Allow about 6-3/4 inches of height for the fixture, plus the track itself. The head body is 3-1/4 inches in diameter and 4-1/2 inches long, so aimed at an angle it swings within roughly that envelope. Worth checking on low ceilings or where merchandise or door swings are close.
5) What finishes does the WAC LTK-720 come in for matching heads already on the run?
Two finishes: black (LTK-720-BK) and white (LTK-720-WT). Order the one that matches the track extrusion so added heads blend with the existing openings.
6) Is the WAC LTK-720 UL listed for a commercial build?
The head carries UL and cUL listings, so it is accepted for both US and Canadian installs. It is also CEC listed. It is not Energy Star, not Title 24 compliant, and not ADA compliant, which matters if your spec calls for any of those.
7) Can the LTK-720 head be flipped to aim up at a wall or ceiling wash?
Yes, it has reversible mounting, so the head can be oriented to aim up as well as down along the track. Handy for uplighting a coffer or washing artwork on a high wall from a ceiling run.
