1) Does the WAC Lighting Pin Up LED task light need to be hardwired, or can it plug in?
The Pin Up is a hardwired wall-mounted fixture running on 120V, so it needs a wired junction box at the mounting location. There is no cord or plug option, which means an electrician (or a licensed in-house maintenance tech) is part of the install on a retrofit where no box exists.
2) Can I use the WAC Pin Up LED task light in a hotel bathroom or a covered exterior walkway?
It carries a Damp location rating and an IP44 ingress rating with ETL and cETL listings, so it is approved for interior use or exterior covered locations. That covers a bathroom away from direct spray and a soffit or covered porch. It is not a wet-location fixture, so do not put it anywhere exposed to driving rain or direct water.
3) Is the WAC Pin Up LED wall light ADA compliant for a corridor?
No. The Pin Up is listed as not ADA compliant, so it should not be specified for corridors, egress paths, or other locations where protruding-object limits apply. For those openings you need a fixture carrying an ADA compliance statement.
4) What dimmer works with the WAC Lighting Pin Up LED task light?
Dimming is supported on electronic low voltage (ELV) and TRIAC dimmers. A standard incandescent/magnetic low-voltage dimmer is the wrong control here and will usually give you flicker or a dead bottom end.
