The Range HHT-160L is an H-track fixture, so it mounts to WAC H-series (single-circuit) track. It will not seat in J or L track profiles. It runs off 120V track, with the low voltage conversion happening in the head itself.
2) Does the HHT-160L track head come with a bulb, and what lamp do I need to order with it?
No lamp is included. You need to add an MR16 lamp with a GY5.3 two pin base, rated up to 50W maximum. Order the lamps separately when you order the heads so the job isn't sitting on the track waiting.
3) Can I put these low voltage track heads on a dimmer?
Yes, but the dimmer type matters. The Range head is rated for ELV (electronic low voltage) dimming, so pair it with an ELV dimmer. A standard incandescent/forward-phase dimmer is the wrong control for it and can cause flicker or buzz.
4) Can the Range HHT-160L track head be used in a covered patio, bathroom, or other damp area?
No. It's rated for dry locations and indoor use only, so keep it out of bathrooms with shower steam, covered exteriors, and unconditioned spaces. For those openings you need a damp or wet location rated fixture.
