The Washbrook system ships as a complete package: the vitreous china urinal, a manual piston-operated flush valve rated at 1.0 gpf/3.8 Lpf, and the wall hangers for mounting. You are not buying the fixture and valve separately. What you still need to supply on the job is the supply stop and the rough-in carrier or blocking in the wall, plus the 2 inch waste connection.

One gallon per flush is what this Washbrook uses, and it clears the bowl with washdown flushing action rather than siphon jet. Washdown is the common choice for schools, offices, and stadium restrooms where the drain line is sized and vented correctly. If your building has a long, low-slope branch line that has a history of solids carry problems, a higher-volume or blowout fixture is the safer specification.

Run-on usually comes from debris fouling the refill orifice inside the valve so it never fully closes. The piston valve on the Washbrook uses American Standard's DynaClean design, with an integral wiper spring that cleans the refill orifice on every flush to keep that from happening. It is a useful feature in buildings with older galvanized supply piping where scale ends up in the valve.

This Washbrook is the manual version, with a piston-operated handle. The handle is non-hold-open, so it shuts off automatically even if someone leans on it, which is the usual reason facilities move to sensors in the first place. Go manual where you want no batteries, no transformer, and no electronics to service. Go sensor-operated where the restroom is high-traffic and you want touch-free operation.

The china has an extended side, which gives some shielding between adjacent fixtures. It is not a substitute for partitions where your local code or the owner's standard calls for screens between urinals, but it does reduce splash and sightline between fixtures compared to a flat-sided bowl.
