The JP-DVF-PR is a JP Series door station and takes its 24V DC power from the JP-4MED master station. There is no separate power supply at the door; the master feeds it over the run. Budget for the master station as part of the order, since the door station will not operate on its own.
2) How far can I run wire from the door station back to the intercom master?
Up to 330 feet, using 18-gauge 2-conductor wire. That is the rated wiring distance for the JP-DVF-PR, so a lobby door to an office master inside a typical building is well within range. Longer runs than that fall outside the spec.
3) What size opening do I need to cut for the JP-DVF-PR flush mount?
The station measures 11-11/16 x 7 x 2-1/16 inches and mounts flush using the back box that ships with it. Rough the wall in for that back box; the 2-1/16 inch depth is what decides whether it will sit in a thin partition or a masonry knockout.

Yes. The camera is a 1/4 inch color CMOS with a 5 lux minimum illumination, and a white LED fills in when light drops below that. The camera is PTZ, so the person at the master can pan, tilt and zoom to see who is actually standing there instead of getting one fixed frame.
