1) Will the Arrow MLX81 entrance lever fit a 1-3/8 inch door, or does it need a 1-3/4 inch door?
Both. The MLX81 cylindrical lever lock is built for 1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch doors as standard, so it covers older interior slabs and standard commercial doors without an extension kit. It goes into a standard 2-1/8 inch bore with a 2-3/4 inch backset, and it's non-handed, so one lock works on a left or right hand opening.
