Codelocks PRFID-SK-A – Frequently Asked Questions
1) How many RFID stickers come in a pack of Codelocks PRFID-SK-A?
Ten per pack, and they are sold in quantities of 10. For a facility rollout, count one credential per user plus spares and order in multiples of ten.
2) How big are the Codelocks RFID smart stickers, and will one fit on a phone or a locker tag?
Each sticker is 1 inch in diameter, round. That footprint sits fine on the back of a phone, inside a phone case, on a key fob tag, or on a name badge. Anything smaller than a 1 inch flat area won't take it cleanly.
3) Can I use RFID stickers instead of cards or fobs on a KitLock KL1100 RFID locker lock?
Yes. The 13.56MHz smart sticker is an alternative credential format to a card or fob for the same readers, including the KL1100 RFID and KL1000 RFID. In a gym or staff locker setting, users often prefer a sticker on a phone or wristband over carrying a separate card. The lock still has to be programmed to accept the credential the same way it would a card.
4) Do the Codelocks smart stickers work with NetCode?
They sit within the Codelocks NetCode-related range and are compatible with the CL4500 and CL5500 ranges plus all Access By Codelocks products. Keep in mind the sticker is a physical RFID credential at 13.56MHz; a NetCode is a time-limited numeric code entered on the keypad. Many sites use both, cards or stickers for regular users and codes for temporary visitors.
5) Are Codelocks RFID smart stickers suitable for commercial and multi-tenant use?
They're classed as commercial door hardware, and the compatible locks span both door locks (CL4500 and CL5500) and locker locks (KL1000, KL1100, KL1550), so one credential format covers doors and lockers in the same building. They also work across the Access By Codelocks product line.
6) Is there more than one version of the Codelocks RFID sticker to choose from?
No options to pick. The RFID Smart Sticker is a single model, PRFID-SK-A, supplied as a 10 pack of 1 inch round 13.56MHz stickers. There's no finish, size, or frequency choice to specify on the order.
