Delaney Barn Door Lag Bolt and Spacer - 2" Extended

It's the mounting hardware that fastens a Delaney barn door track to the wall or header. The lag bolt goes through a spacer that holds the rail off the wall face, which is what gives the door body and the hangers room to travel past the trim. This is the 2 inch extended version, so it stands the track further off the wall than a standard-length spacer.

The extended 2 inch spacer is the one to use when the door has to clear something proud of the wall, such as door casing, baseboard cap, or thick jamb trim. Measure how far the trim projects from the wall plus the thickness of the door, and pick the spacer that keeps the door face clear of it. If the wall around the opening is flat and untrimmed, a standard-length spacer is enough.

Both come together. It's sold as a lag bolt and spacer set, so the fastener and the standoff are matched to each other. What it does not include is the track, the hangers, or wall backing, and a barn door rail needs to land in solid framing or a mounting board, not drywall alone.

One at each mounting point along the rail, so the count follows your track length and the hole pattern drilled in it. Count the holes in the rail you're hanging and order that many, plus a spare or two, since a stripped lag on install day stops the job.
