Deltana SWP4741 Switch Plate, Double Rocker, Solid Brass

No. The SWP4741 is a two-gang plate, but it's cut for one rocker (decora style) opening per gang, so it needs a double gang box with two rocker devices in it. A single rocker device in a one-gang box needs a single rocker plate instead.

Nine finishes: PVD Polished Brass, Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Antique Nickel, Polished Chrome, Brushed Chrome, and Paint Black. For a property standardizing a whole floor, PVD Polished Brass is the one to pick if you want the brass look with a coating that resists tarnish compared to the uncoated Polished Brass.

No. The SWP4741 is cut for rocker (decora) openings only. Standard toggle switches and duplex receptacles have different cutouts and need the matching plate from the Deltana switch and plug plate range, which is offered in a variety of templates.

It measures 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 inches, so it covers slightly more wall around a standard two-gang opening than a stamped standard-size plate. Worth checking your wall if the box sits tight to a door casing or backsplash edge.

Solid brass, both the material and the substrate. That's why it has more heft than a stamped plate and why it holds up in high-touch commercial corridors and hotel rooms rather than dimpling when it's over-tightened.

It's classed as commercial. Solid brass construction is the reason, and it makes sense in hospitality, healthcare and multi-family corridors where plastic plates crack and yellow. It's sold per piece, so order by the count of two-gang rocker openings you're covering.

Yes, that's the usual reason people buy them. The rocker plates are offered in the same finish family Deltana uses across its door trim and accessories, so an Oil Rubbed Bronze plate reads with Oil Rubbed Bronze levers and hinges on the same opening. Order all plates for a job at once so they come from a consistent run, especially in living finishes like Antique Brass.
