Mustee 3838CBT – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size opening does the Mustee 3838CBT neo-angle shower floor fit?
The Mustee 3838CBT Durabase is a 38 x 38 neo-angle shower floor, so it is sized for a square 38 by 38 inch corner footprint with the angled front face cutting across the corner. Frame the two wall legs to 38 inches each and set the base into the corner; the diagonal front is where the neo-angle door and side panels land.
2) Is the Mustee 3838CBT a shower pan only, or does it come with walls and a door?
It is the shower floor only. The Durabase 3838CBT is the receptor you set on the subfloor and connect to the drain; the neo-angle glass enclosure, door, wall panels or tile surround, and the drain assembly are all separate purchases. Plan the enclosure to the 38 x 38 neo-angle footprint so the glass sits on the base curb correctly.
3) What color is Mustee 3838CBT, and will it match biscuit fixtures already in the bathroom?
3838CBT is the biscuit version of the 38 x 38 Durabase neo-angle floor. Biscuit is the off-white/light almond tone, so it pairs with biscuit toilets, lavs and tubs rather than pure white. If the rest of the room is white, order the white version of the same base instead so the floor does not read yellow next to the other fixtures.
