Yes. The Eaton B-Line 10108 RTSC carries a NEMA Type 3R rating, so it's built for outdoor use where falling rain, sleet and ice on the enclosure are the concern. It adds a rain hood over the cover and plated screws to hold up in wet locations. Type 3R is not a washdown or hosedown rating, so keep it off applications with direct pressure spray.

There are 5 knockouts in the bottom of the box, which is where conduit entries belong on a 3R enclosure so water runs away from the openings. Top and sides come blank, so any additional entries you make yourself need a listed fitting and a raintight seal to keep the 3R rating intact.

Surface mount, using embossed thru holes in the back of the box. The embossing stands the hole off the mounting surface so water can't track through the fastener into the enclosure, which is what keeps a 3R box weathertight on an exterior wall. Mounting hardware for your substrate is not part of the box, so pick anchors to suit block, stud or strut.

It's a screw cover, not a hinged door. The flanged cover lifts off completely once you back out the plated screws, which gives full open access to the box but means you want a hand free when you're working on a ladder. If you're opening the box regularly for service, a hinged-cover enclosure is the easier choice.

Carbon steel, 16 gauge, finished in painted ANSI 61 grey. That's the standard grey used across most industrial control and distribution gear, so it blends with panels and disconnects already on the wall. Steel in a wet exterior location should have any field-drilled edges touched up to keep corrosion out.
