1) Is the Eaton B-Line 2260 GGV wireway rated for outdoor or wet locations?
No. The 2260 GGV is a NEMA 1 enclosure, which is indoor, general purpose only. It gives you protection against incidental contact and falling dirt, not rain, washdown, or dust-tight service. For an outdoor run or a washdown area you need a NEMA 3R or NEMA 4 gasketed wireway instead.
2) How does the cover come off on this B-Line screw cover wireway, and is that a problem for frequent access?
The cover is a screw cover, held on with plated screws along the length. That means every access is a screwdriver job on the full stick. For a feeder gutter or a run you rarely open, that's fine and it keeps the cover positively secured. If you're pulling and re-terminating regularly, a hinged or lay-in cover wireway will save you time.
3) Does the 2260 GGV wireway come with knockouts for conduit entry?
Yes, it is pre-punched with 23 knockouts on the top and 23 on the bottom, so you can land conduit along the run without drilling the trough. There are also thru holes for mounting. If your entries need to come in the ends or sides instead, you'll be punching those yourself in 16 gauge steel.
4) Is the B-Line 2260 GGV wireway approved for use on a job in Canada?
It is CSA Certified, so it carries a Canadian certification mark for submittal purposes on Canadian work. Confirm the section length and NEMA 1 indoor rating suit the location as drawn.
