1) Does the Emtek 1361 multi point trim include the multi point lock body, or do I need to order that separately?
Trim only. The 1361 set gives you the plates, the handles, and the cylinder. The multi point mortise lock box goes in the door separately and is not part of this set, so if you are building a swinging patio door from scratch you need the lock body too. Replacing tired trim on a lock that still works is exactly what this set is for. You also pick a lever style with the order, since the plates ship with the Sandcast Bronze lever you choose.
2) What is Door Configuration #3 on Emtek multi point trim, and how do I know it is the one my door takes?
Configuration #3 describes the layout of the holes in the door: on the 1361 the cylinder sits above the handle, and the spacing from the cylinder hub to the handle hub is 4-1/8 inches center to center. Multi point doors are prepped for one specific layout, so measure your existing prep from the middle of the key cylinder to the middle of the handle spindle. If that comes out at 4-1/8 inches with the key on top, this is your configuration. If the cylinder sits below the handle, or the spacing is different, a different Emtek configuration number covers it.
3) Will the Emtek 1361 trim fit an Andersen patio door?
Andersen is the reference door manufacturer for this trim, so it is built to suit Andersen swinging patio door multi point prep in the #3 configuration, with the key cylinder above the handle and 4-1/8 inch hub to hub spacing. Andersen has used more than one multi point layout over the years, so confirm your door against those two facts, cylinder on top and 4-1/8 inch spacing, before ordering.
4) Can I key this Emtek patio door trim to match the Schlage or Weiser keys I already carry?
Yes, and that is the point of offering two keyways. The cylinder is an American style cylinder and comes in either the standard Schlage keyway or a Weiser WR5 keyway, so it can run on the same key as the rest of the house or the rest of a unit. Keying is single cylinder, key outside and thumbturn or lever release inside. When you order you pick keyed different or keyed alike, and there is a field for keying to an existing code if you want it cut to a key you already have.
5) Do I have to specify handing on an Emtek multi point lock trim?
Handing is required on the order, right hand or left hand, because the lever and the plate are made for one swing. Stand outside the door: if the hinges are on your right it is right hand, hinges on your left is left hand. Get it wrong and the lever points the wrong way on the plate. Hold a 2 by 10 inch rectangle over the existing prep and check both the cylinder hole and the handle hole land inside it before you commit.
8) My patio door lever sags. Does the Emtek multi point trim fix that?

Each Emtek multi point lock trim now carries a spring assist that returns the lever to neutral instead of letting it droop over time, which is the usual complaint on an older patio door handle set. Since the trim is sold separate from the lock body, you can cure a sagging handle without pulling the multi point lock out of the door.

10) Is the Emtek 1361 single or double cylinder, and what is on the inside of the door?
Single cylinder. There is one keyed American cylinder, on the exterior plate above the handle, and the interior side releases without a key. That is standard for a patio door on an egress path, and it means only one key blank to worry about when you key it alike with the rest of the openings. There is no electronic option on this trim; it is entirely mechanical.
11) What is sandcast bronze trim like compared to a plated or cast finish on a patio door?
The 1361 plates and levers are solid bronze, sandcast, so the surface has the texture and slight irregularity that comes off the sand mold rather than a smooth plated look.
