It is built for Door Configuration #5 openings, with a 3-5/8 inch handle-to-cylinder center-to-center spacing and the cylinder hole below the handle. Emtek references it against doors from Crestline, Hoppe, Hurd, KFV, Kolbe & Kolbe, Lincoln, Loewen, Paddock Lockmaster, Peachtree, Semco, Sierra, Oknoplast, Pacific, Signature, Simpson, Therma-Tru, Vetter, Willmar, Windsor and Weathershield. Measure your existing plate's center-to-center and confirm the cylinder sits below the lever before ordering.
2) Is the Emtek 1552 keyed, and what cylinder does it take?
It is a non-keyed passage trim, so there is no key cylinder supplied and the levers operate the gearbox without locking. The plate is prepped for a Euro profile cylinder positioned below the handle, which is what the gearbox side uses if your configuration calls for one.
3) Do I have to specify handing on the Emtek 1552 trim?
Yes, handing is required, right hand or left hand. These are handed sets, so an incorrectly handed order will not mount correctly on the door. Stand outside the door and note which side the hinges are on before ordering.
4) What do I have to choose when ordering the Emtek 1552 Sandcast Bronze trim?
