2) Is the Emtek 2452 doorbell button lighted, and does it need its own power?
The button is lighted. That light draws from the same low voltage transformer circuit that runs the chime, so it wires into a standard two-wire bell loop with no separate supply. For a narrow stile or a sidelite mull, Emtek's STRETTO plates are the ones to look at: 2440 at 1-1/2 by 5 inches and 2441 at 1-1/2 by 11 inches. Both are only 1-1/2 inches across, so they suit a slim vertical surface where a rosette will not land.
5) What finishes does the Emtek 2452 hammered rosette doorbell come in?
Four finishes: Oil Rubbed Bronze (US10B), Satin Nickel (US15), Flat Black (US19), and Unlacquered Brass (US3NL). Unlacquered brass has no clear coat, so it will darken and patina over time, which is usually the point on an Arts and Crafts entry. The other three are coated and hold their look. Pick the one that matches the entry lockset and knocker so the door reads as one set.
6) Is the Emtek 2452 doorbell rated for a commercial entrance or is it a residential part?
