The BG-4600 measures 27-1/2 x 14-3/4 x 1 inches overall. It is a custom-sized grid rather than a universal one, so measure the flat bottom area of your sink basin and allow a little clearance on each side. If your basin bottom is smaller than roughly 27-1/2 by 14-3/4 inches, this grid will not drop in.
2) Will a Houzer Wirecraft bottom grid fit a sink from another brand?
Houzer builds the Wirecraft grids to its own basin dimensions, and the BG-4600 is one of the sink-specific ones. It can physically sit in any basin whose interior bottom clears 27-1/2 by 14-3/4 inches, but the corner radius and drain cutout are cut for the Houzer basin it was made for, so on another brand's sink the fit is usually loose or the drain opening lands off center.
3) Does a sink bottom grid actually protect the sink, or is it just for looks?
