1) Will a standard 3-1/2 inch garbage disposal or basket strainer fit the Houzer PTB-1318?
The drain opening on the PTB-1318 is 3-1/2 inches and sits in the center of the bowl, which is the standard opening size for kitchen strainers and disposal flanges. A basket strainer comes with the sink, so for a plain drain setup you have what you need out of the box.
2) Does the Houzer PTB-1318 come with undermount clips or brackets to install it?
No mounting hardware ships with the PTB-1318. Fireclay is heavy, and undermount fireclay is normally carried on a plywood or framed support ledger built into the cabinet rather than on clips, so plan the support and the fasteners as part of the job. Installation instructions are included with the sink.
3) Will the Houzer PTB-1318 drop into the cutout from my old bar sink?
Only if the old sink was also undermount and the existing counter cutout is smaller than the 12-3/16 by 18-1/8 inch outside footprint, since an undermount reveals the stone edge. Replacing a drop-in with the PTB-1318 does not work on the same counter, because a drop-in cutout is larger than the sink's rim and would leave a gap around the undermount body. On a like-for-like undermount swap, check that the 7-1/4 inch depth clears your existing trap and disposal height under the cabinet.
4) Can the Houzer PTB-1318 be undermounted to a laminate or butcher block counter, or does it need stone?
The PTB-1318 is an undermount sink, which means the counter has to have a finished, sealed cut edge, since the substrate is exposed at the sink opening. Stone and solid surface are the straightforward cases. Laminate is not, because the particleboard core will be left open. If your counter is laminate, use a drop-in or topmount sink instead.

Two build-outs on the PTB-1318. Sink with basket strainer is the base, and sink with basket strainer plus basin grid adds the BG-7010 bottom grid that sits in the bowl and keeps glassware and knives off the fireclay floor. Order codes follow the finish: PTB-1318-WH and PTB-1318-BQ for strainer only, PTB-1318-WH-C and PTB-1318-BQ-C with the grid. If this is a bar sink in a rental or a commercial space, the grid is worth having.
6) Where does the faucet mount on the Houzer PTB-1318 undermount bar sink?
There are no faucet holes in the PTB-1318 itself.
