Both ends are plain (spigot x spigot). That means the elbow does not accept conduit directly into a socket, it goes into the bell end of a coupling, a female adapter, or a belled length of Schedule 40 conduit, solvent welded. Kraloy states the plain ends are for use with nonmetallic solvent weld fittings.

This is the standard radius version of the Kraloy 90 degree Schedule 40 PVC elbow. Standard radius turns tight and suits box and fitting connections; if you are pulling large conductors or fiber and need a gentler bend to limit sidewall pressure, a long radius or special radius sweep is the fitting to specify instead.

Yes on dimensions. Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 PVC share the same outside diameter at a given trade size, so a 2 inch Schedule 40 elbow spigot solvent welds into a 2 inch Schedule 80 bell. Where the run needs Schedule 80 because it is subject to physical damage, though, the elbow should be Schedule 80 too, since this one is Schedule 40 rigid nonmetallic PVC.

Corrosive and wet environments are where PVC usually gets chosen over metallic conduit.

Plan on solvent cement and a PVC cleaner, plus whatever gets you from the plain ends into your run. If you are tying into belled conduit or a coupling, nothing more is needed; if you are landing on a box or a threaded fitting, add a female adapter or terminal adapter in the matching trade size.
