That's exactly what the 4893 is for. It's a PVC DWV P-trap built with an L.A. The connections are hub by slip joint, so the inlet solvent welds into a Schedule 40 hub and the outlet side takes a slip joint. Check with your local inspector on which pattern they accept, since the requirement is jurisdictional.
