2) What lengths does the Nibco 619 copper air chamber come in, and does the length matter for water hammer?
Three sizes, all 1/2 inch: 1/2 x 6 inch, 1/2 x 12 inch, and 1/2 x 14 inch. The longer body holds a larger column of air, which is why fixture groups with quick-closing solenoid valves (washing machine boxes, dishwashers, flush valves) typically get the 12 or 14 inch, while a short single-fixture branch is often served by the 6 inch.
