1) What kind of connections does the Nibco 707-3 90-degree elbow have on each end?

Confirm the drawing does not call for a lead-free potable fitting, since this alloy is barred from U.S. drinking water service.
4) What is the Nibco 707-3 elbow made of, and will it hold up in a system with aggressive water?
Cast bronze, ASTM B584 alloy C84400, and it is dezincification resistant. That matters on hydronic and industrial loops where a high-zinc brass fitting can lose zinc over time and fail at the threads.
5) Should I use a C x F elbow or a straight adapter plus a regular copper elbow?
Use the C x F elbow when the direction change and the sweat-to-thread transition happen at the same point, which is most of the time at a valve, pump, or equipment tapping. It saves a joint and takes up less room in a tight chase. Two separate fittings only make sense if you need the thread offset away from the turn. The 707-3 covers the combined case in 1/4 through 2 inch.
6) How do I order the right Nibco 707-3 elbow by part number?
