The T45AC-V carries an FKM (Viton-type) O-ring, which generally suits acids, hydrocarbons and oxidizers. FKM is the wrong elastomer for some chemistries where EPDM is preferred, so check the Chemtrol chemical resistance guide against your specific media before committing. 6) Why choose an angle valve instead of a straight globe valve?
An angle valve turns the flow 90 degrees, so it replaces both an elbow and a straight valve at a change of direction. Fewer joints, shorter run, and less pressure drop than an elbow plus globe valve in series. If your line runs straight through, a straight-pattern valve is the simpler pick.
7) Where does an irrigation or industrial contractor typically use this Chemtrol angle valve?
